Zion!

Last Saturday, we got some friends together and went to Zion National Park.

Jay & Joseph came and picked us up a little after 7am, and then we picked up Kirstin and were on our way!

We tried about ten times to get this shot..

Yay Friends!

First, we went on the Weeping Rock trail. The hike was uphill the whole way, but it was so pretty! It was so green! On the way up, we had a little surprise..

This little guy was on the trail, and let us get about ten feet away from him before he started walking away.

Weeping Rock was so cool! It seemed like it was raining, but from solid rock! And there were plants and mosses growing right from the rock face.

After we were done hiking Weeping Rock, we went on another trail up Hidden Canyon. The first half of the hike was really steep and very tiring. Kirstin and I almost fell over we were so tired! We took a rest at the summit, and then continued on our way. The trail led up into a pretty canyon, and we saw lots of awesome stuff, like this arch!

Zion was so pretty! I hope we get to go back soon. [:
